Description:

A tool plugin for creating custom pathways using splines and instanced meshes. Allows for setting custom meshes, adjusting mesh scale, adjusting pathway size and curve, and dynamically sets meshes at points on defined spline pathways.


Current Supported Versions / Platforms: 

Unreal Engine 4.26, 4.27 (Win32, Win64)


Installation:

For installing to project:

  • Copy the "PathwayCreationTool" folder to the Plugins folder of your project (Project\Plugins)

For installing to engine:

  • Copy the "PathwayCreationTool" folder to the Plugins folder of your engine folder (UE_4.26\Engine\Plugins)

Then enable in the plugin window of your project (Settings->Plugins)


Get Started:

In the plugin's content folder, you will find a blueprint version of the path tool and a demo level for showing how pathways can be setup. Easiest way to get started is drag the blueprint into your level, then scroll in the actor's details panel until you find the "Path" category. This will have the field necessary for customizing your pathways.
